The South Mountain WORKS Coalition stands in solidarity…

with members of our community who have been tremendously impacted by systemic racism and discrimination, and calls on all sectors of our community, schools, and our elected officials to work with us in our continued efforts to end institutional racism, and to be healed from historical trauma. The Coalition is actively engaged in breaking the cycle of racism with community initiatives that create a safe and supportive environment for all BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). We honor and support the members of our South Mountain Community who have been resisting oppression and laboring for the sake of justice, and are committed to creating positive social change in collaboration with our community.
