Virtual Youth Talk Summer session #2

The South Mountain WORKS Coalition’s Youth Talk Virtual Summer sessions is designed to enhance students public speaking skills, group facilitation skills, resilience skills as well as bringing awareness to youth substance use in South Phoenix and throughout Arizona.

During the Youth Talk Summer session youth will work together to develop an online platform that will support a youth led community dialogue about resilience, mental health, substance use and protective factors. The goals is to bring awareness to these topics and improve students’ coping skills, leadership skills and improve a student’s ability to seek support and support their peers.
